Grilled Mahi Mahi On Jasmine Rice
If enlightenment came in bowl form, it might just look like this dish. The Grilled Mahi Mahi on Jasmine Rice is one of those rare meals that somehow manages to be cozy, classy, and slightly unhinged (in the best way possible). Let's start with the star: the mahi mahi. Perfectly grilled --- flaky, juicy, and kissed with just enough char to whisper, "yes, I've been somewhere tropical." It lounges atop a cloud of jasmine rice that smells like a spa for carbs --- delicate, floral, and ready to soak up all the flavor drama happening above it. The julienned summer veggies crash the scene like the colorful best friends in a coming-of-age movie --- bright, crisp, and impossibly cheerful. Then there's the wasabi mayo, which doesn't scream but flirts: creamy, tangy, and just spicy enough to keep you guessing. A little ginger zing keeps things from getting too comfortable, while the roasted seaweed wraps the whole dish in a savory, ocean-hugging hug. It's balanced, but not boring. Familiar, yet a little weird (again, in a hot way). Every bite feels like a mini vacation --- the kind where you wear linen and talk about your "energy." Final verdict: 9.5/10. Would absolutely write this fish a love poem and order again.
Carrot Cake
Wow. I originally came in here to drop business cards off but was amazed at the array of sweet treats. I forget the gal's name I spoke to but she was so lovely and walked me through the whole tray. I was in a rush and couldn't order then, but came back just for the carrot cake. Holy it was good. This cafe is so sweet and wholesome --- I absolutely need to head back and try the tarts, anything chocolate... and definitely more carrot cake. Yum
Grilled Salmon & Belgian Endives
Bloom is one of my top favorite restaurants in LA! I have been going here for years. Their food is delicious, and there are great options for vegans, meat-eaters, gluten-free, and more. The service is excellent and it's easy to make modifications to a dish. Everyone who works here is so friendly. Definitely a neighborhood favorite!

It was so good and the perfect amount of food! Even the side salad is so delicious. Scrumptious ingredients and amazing customer service every time I come.

Absolutely the BEST breakfast I've had in years! The Californian omelette was simply amazing... so fresh and full of quality ingredients. I also had the Tumeric latte which was 5 stars and the gingerbread molasses cookie!! One word: WOW. Two words: GO NOW! Bloom cafe is exceptional and they have the nicest servers I have ever met! Go for a visit; you won't regret it!
Marinated Grilled Chicken Kebab
Literally I order this everytime I come to this place. The chicken (organic) is juicy and the veggies with the rice? So good!!
The Santa Fe
I know I should venture out and try different things on the menu, but this Santa Fe breakfast with chorizo is just so good! I get it with sourdough bread. I always feel full yet healthy after eating it.

Tandoori Chicken On Quinoa & Lentils
The creamy hint of coconut in the quinoa and the substantial savory lentils bed the moist chicken (or substitute tofu) topped off with spot on tomato chutney. Who thought of these delicious combinations? I have copied some of their brilliant drinks at home. Much on the menu makes us regulars at this great neighborhood roost.

11/2023 - Monday Brunch: Bloom kindly honored my custom request to merge 2 of their omelet menu choices -- a hybrid egg white omelette, merging The Greek and Lox w/ sour cream menu items. Red breakfast potatoes Wheat toast My meal was incredible, and the portions can easily feed two folks with one meal. Bloom's baked goods looked phenomenal; will have to return for the vegan, flourless chocolate cake. I have eaten at Bloom 3 to 4 times since early 2000s -- flavor, quantity and quality have been excellent and consistent for almost 2 decades. I
